The Dad club.

I had forgotten that you still had a few of my Dad's old clubs in your golf bag.  And what a special reminder today when you brought his putter out to mini-golf with.  Kinda rounded out the day for me.

Happy Father's Day to my partner in this crazy world of parenting.

You sure do know how to bring the fun.  And despite all the eye rolls, we totally love you for it!

Photo fun.

I noticed it when we went to Florida.

Juliana had taken my old camera as her own.  On the drive south we could hear her click-clicking away at all the sights.  It made my camera-happy heart proud...

She took that camera everywhere and documented the whole trip through her eyes.  And now she has spent hours putting her photos together in a digital scrapbook.  I totally can't wait to see how it turns out!

The problem, of course, is when you take your own camera on holidays, there are never enough pictures of you.  Luckily, in our family, we have arms long enough to turn the camera on ourselves.

Problem solved.

With my recent vow to get off the green square, I've been a little photo-happy myself lately.  So when I came across a photo-a-day challenge, it only made sense that I ask Juliana to join me.  And, boy, was she keen!  I've tried to figure out how best to share our efforts here and although I've got some ideas, so far nothing is working like I'd hoped.  For now, head over to Facebook and you can check out our album there....

12 on 12.

June  :  Tuesday

01.  Morning already?  Must be a work day.
02.  It looks dreary this morning out my bathroom window.  And yet looking through the green leaves always makes me happy.
03.  Juliana left this morning's message on our "Kindness Board" in the kitchen.
04.  The walk from the train to the office.
05.  My mid-morning coffee.
06.  At lunch I walked to Staples to buy paper but I got completely side-tracked in the Martha Stewart label aisle.  It's my dream aisle, really.
07.  Into the snack drawer for my mid-afternoon chocolate break.
08.  I really need to pay more attention.  To the gas gauge and to the dust on my dashboard.
09.  Minecraft.
10.  Longest. Math. Homework. Season. Ever.
11.  Juliana came up from her shower wrapped in a towel and wearing her new fancy shoes.  Very Juliana.
12.  Early to bed (for a change....)
