12 on 12.

June  :  Wednesday

01.  The day was going to be a busy one.  When I got in the car to leave for work, it looked like there were little balloons on my back window - like it was a day to celebrate!  I wish that I had time to grab my camera and take some better quality photos but it was a work day and I was on the verge of running late so my a quick iPhone snap would have to do.
02.  First stop was to pick up my sister.  She's been visiting from out west and needed to get to the City for a conference.  As luck would have it, I was driving to work today so we shared the ride together and caught up on life.
03.  It's been a long time since my mother has stood at the door waving goodbye as one of her kids left for work.  Today she was able to see two of us off and then get herself back to bed before the clock struck 6:05 a.m.
04.  The weather has been unseasonably cool lately but when I stepped out for coffee around 9 a.m. I could feel the warmth of the sun on my legs so I stopped for a second to enjoy it.
05.  Mid-morning snack.
06.  See?  Busy day.
07.  Treated myself to sushi for lunch.  My favourite.
08.  Sheldon and his friends played hooky this afternoon and took the train in to the City to see his first concert.  I picked them up from the train station and then dropped them off at the venue.  Rancid was the big draw but the whole afternoon/evening was quite the adventure.
09.  After dropping the boys off I had to crawl home in traffic.  See why I prefer the train?
10.  Frozen peas = very handy.  Peter is on day 5 of his recovery from knee surgery.
11.  Juliana and I went to sunset yoga at Jill's tonight.  It rained so we were in the barn.  What a beautiful sight to be surrounded by bails of hay and the light filtering through the walls.
12.  Arrived home to Peter's Wednesday night rehearsal in the basement and I fell asleep to the sounds of them playing....
